HOW IT HAPPENED
-Spalding's Troy Amanor would open the game with a jumper to put SU up two, but Greenville knocked down a three-pointer to go in front, and never looked back. The Golden Eagles kept it close for the opening minutes, but the Panthers would break away, going into half up by 28 heading into halftime fueled by 56.7% shooting from behind the arc, draining 17 of their 30 three pointers.

-In the second half, Greenville continued to knock down threes extending their lead to 35 at just under the 17 minute mark. Marcus Montgomery and Mitchell Prince got a pair of lay-ups off feeds from Brian Tribble, and started to shave away at the Panther's lead. However, the Golden Eagles just could not overcome the deficit falling, 140-119.
