HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Golden Eagles opened up hot behind two seniors looking to help their team get to the Conference Tournament.  A pair of threes from Allison Just and Megan Goeing would help get Spalding up early. However, a layup from Mikalyn Callahan about three minutes in would put Westminster up 1, their largest and only lead of the game.  Hunter Wright answered with a layup, and Spalding never trailed again. The Golden Eagles closed the quarter with a seven point run, led by Just with a three pointer and a layup. This would put Spalding up 11 going into the second quarter.

- A three from Goeing would help extend the lead to 16 at the start of the second quarter. A six point run capped by a layup from Maleah Hirn put Spalding up 20, the largest lead of the first half, with three minutes left until halftime.  A Blue Jay jumper would help cut the lead, sending them into halftime down 18.

- Westminster came out firing on all cylinders, trying to edge their way back into the game. However, Spalding stepped on the gas extending the lead to 25 at the end of the quarter.

-The Blue Jays continued to try to fight back, nearly outscoring Spalding in the fourth quarter, but it wouldn't be enough with the Golden Eagles shooting 66.7% from the field and 55.6% from beyond the arc in the second half.  A three from Meagan Hayden would seal the deal, and the Golden Eagles went on to win 85-60.
