HOW IT HAPPENED

Troy Amanor scored Spalding's first five points to put the Eagles up early. However, the Red Devils answered with an 18-4 run capped off Dakota Bennington's and-one with 13 minutes remaining in the half, and Eureka would stretch their lead to 20 points heading into the half following a Bennington dunk.

- Amanor opened the half with a quick bucket, but Eureka kept pushing the lead. With just over four minutes to play, Eureka stretched their lead to 37, the largest margin of the game. A pair of threes from
Marcus Montgomery would begin to trim the Eureka lead, but it was too late as Spalding fell to the Red Devils, 61-82.

Troy Amanor tallied a double-double and led all scorers with 24 points and 11 rebounds.
Marcus Montgomery contributed 13 points.
