HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Golden Eagles started out slow in the first quarter until
Kendyl Powell drained a three-pointer with 2:42 left to get within one point of the Panthers. From there, Spalding took the lead and didn't allow another point for the rest of the quarter, going into the second quarter up by five points, thanks to layups by
Hunter Wright,
Kendyl Powell, and
Allison Just.
-In the second quarter, the Eagles lost their lead and were not able to regain it for the rest of the game. Ultimately losing by 14 to the Panthers.

Maleah Hirn led for Spalding with 15 points and three rebounds. However,
Hunter Wright and
Kendyl Powell both secured double doubles for the night, each with 12 points. Wright obtained 12 rebounds and Powell with 13.
FOR THE FOES
- Emily Reinneck secured a game high of 18 points for the Panthers, along with five steals and three rebounds.
