Golden Eagles compete at Columbia 300 Saints Invite

CHESTERFIELD, Mo. - The Golden Eagles competed over the weekend in the third tournament of their season at the Columbia 300 Saints Invite with two bowlers placing in the top-50.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Breanna Edwards led the Golden Eagles, grabbing 40th place with a pin action of 912 and an average of 182.40.
- Taitlyn Chapman followed Edwards with a 174.60 average and a pin total of 873 leading her to a 49th place finish.
- Genevieve Burnett finished 66th with an average of 152.40 and a pin total of 762. Grace Sweat competed well, finishing with an average of 155.67 and a pin total of 467.
- Lucy Hess, Ellie Schneidtmiller, and Abigail Phillips rounded out the Spalding bowlers. Hess ended with a pin action of 414 and an average of 138.00. Schneidtmiller knocked down 271 pins and averaged 135.50 for the tournament. Phillips dropped 217 total pins, good for a 108.50 average.

- The Golden Eagles will compete next on February 15^th and 16^th at the 51^st Annual Hoosier Classic at Western Bowl in Indianapolis, Ind.
