LAS VEGAS, N.V. - The Spalding Women's Bowling team opened up their season on the road with a 13th place finish at the Stormin' Blue & White Classic.

TURNING POINT

On the first day of the tournament in the total pinfall baker match, Ellie Schneidtmiller picked up two wins for the Golden Eagles. The first win came in a game against Vanderbilt with a score of 180-161. She also picked up a tie against Mt. St. Mary's with a score of 169.

The Golden Eagles came back on the third day for match play. Where they picked up two wins against Texas Southern. Ashley Davis won 200-146 and Lacey Blevins picked up a 167-157 win.

Spalding will be back on the road traveling to Valley Park, Mo. competing in the Columbia 300 Saints Invite from January 27th- 29th.
