Allison Just scored 20 points to help the Golden Eagles beat Blackburn, 85-78 on Wednesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Golden Eagles had a slow start but ultimately held on to the lead after a three-pointer by
Megan Goeing at 6:05 in the first quarter brought them out of a one point deficit to the Beavers.
- While the Golden Eagles controlled the majority of the game, they couldn't reach a double-digit advantage until the second half. At 8:42 in the third quarter,
Hunter Wright secured a layup to push their lead to 10 points. While Blackburn fought back and cut their deficit down to six, the Golden Eagles fought harder with a three-pointer by
Maleah Hirn, followed by back to back buckets by
Allison Just.
- The game ended with a final Spalding layup by
Kailey Reed, followed by a three at the buzzer by Blackburn, but it wasn't enough. The Golden Eagles won with seven points to spare and a final score of 85-78.

Allison Just led in scoring for the Golden Eagles with 20 total points and five rebounds.
Hunter Wright followed with another double-double providing 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Meagan Hayden followed with 10 points and three assists.
