HOW IT HAPPENED
- The game started out slow with neither team being able to pull away until the 16 minute mark in the first half. Eventually, the Blue Jays found their stride and got up to an 18-point lead over the Golden Eagles. However, with a made layup by
Braeden Warren, the Golden Eagles began making a comeback. With 43 seconds left in the half,
Jaiquan Edwards sunk a jumper to cut their deficit to 10 points going into the second half.
- At the start of the second half, it was like there was a lid on the basket for both teams. Both missed a combined five consecutive shots. However, following a foul by Westminster's Landon Harrison,
Brian Tribble sank two free throws to cut the Blue Jays lead to eight points with 18:03 left in the half.
- With 4:04 left in the game, the score was 50-74 after the dagger three-point shot by Westminster's Steven Brandt, which the Golden Eagles couldn't recover from.

Jaiquan Edwards led the team in scoring with 22 points and one rebound.
Marcus Montgomery followed with eight points for the Eagles.
