HOW IT HAPPENED
- Spalding started the game strong with back to back points, beginning with a layup by
Troy Amanor, followed by a drained three-pointer by
Marcus Montgomery. The Panthers put up a fight obtaining the lead 6-5, until
Mitchell Prince sunk a three to take over the scoreboard once again.
- Principia was able to keep it close, and even tie the game, but Spalding went into the half up two, 40-38.
- The Panthers begun the second half with a three-pointer to take a one-point lead, but the Eagles were ready.
Xavier Gari returned with a three to take back the advantage. Spalding eventually got up to an 11-point lead, but the Panthers fought back. Spalding's defense kept pushing, ultimately leading to a two-point win of 80-78 over the Panthers.

Marcus Montgomery led with 20 points and five assists.
Jaiquan Edwards followed with a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Mitchell Prince contributed 12 points and two assists, as well as,
Clayte Weathers with 10 points and five rebounds.

- TreVaughn Goodman led the Panthers with 20 points, six rebounds, and six assists.
