LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Golden Eagles had two players record double-doubles as they defeated Iowa Wesleyan 88-46.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Spalding set the tone of the game strong both offensively and defensively not allowing any points for the first four minutes and going on a 12-point run, starting with a layup by
Amber Higdon. The Eagles flexed their defensive muscles, only allowing few points by the Tigers and went into the second quarter up 10 points.
- The second quarter started off similar to the first with a layup from
Hunter Wright to start them off, followed by three-pointers by
Megan Goeing and
Kailey Reed, their offensive spurt took them to a 31-point lead going into halftime.
- Spalding had a balanced attack in the second half with 42 total points and 30 rebounds, securing them the win of 88-46 over the Tigers.

Hunter Wright led in points and gained another double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Megan Goeing followed close behind with 17 points and two assists.
Kendyl Powell also attained a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
