OAHU, HI. – The Spalding women's basketball team dropped to Concorida-Wisconsin 73-62 in the first game of the hoop n surf tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Golden Eagles started off strong securing the first points of the game with a three-pointer by
Megan Goeing. However, the Falcons quickly caught up and kept pace, ultimately going into the second quarter up by four.
- With 4:27 left in the second quarter, the Golden Eagles were able to tie the game back up at 27-27 with a three by
Kendyl Powell. Yet, they weren't able to hold onto their momentum, going into the half down by five.
- The second half was dominated by the Falcons making it hard for the Golden Eagles to catch back up. In the end, the Falcons won by 11 points.

Hunter Wright led for the Golden Eagles in points with 19 total, two blocks, and five rebounds.
Kendyl Powell followed with 16 points, seven rebounds, and one block.
FOR THE FOES
- The Falcons were led by Clara Chambers with 15 points and five rebounds. Emily Hafemann also secured 14 points and six rebounds.
