LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Spalding women's soccer team cruised past Iowa Wesleyan, 15-0, improving to 5-7 overall and 2-2 in conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Golden Eagles got off to a fast start led by sophomore
Avery O'Hara scoring two of her four goals in the first five minutes, finding the back of the net in the 2nd and 5th minute to put SU in front 2-0. O'Hara went on to add two second half goals in the 64th and 67th minutes.

Kelsie Huffman added two first half goals in the 12th and 19th minutes pushing the Golden Eagles lead to four goals,
Taylor Ashby followed close behind scoring in the 28th minute to make it a 5-0 margin at the half.
- Spalding ran away with it in the second half scoring 10 goals in the final 45 minutes. Freshman
Dori Emig scored three times in the first 15:23 of the half tallying her first collegiate hat trick.
Bailey Whitehead,
Hanna Watson,
Ally Johnson,
Kayla Strehle and
Maggie Holmes each added one goal to run the final score to 15-0.
FOR THE FOES
-Ivet Rodriguez took two shots on goal, as well as, one from Jacqueline Ivers for the Tigers.Â
-Cheleena Squib provided 11 saves throughout the game.Â
