LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Spalding men's soccer team took down SLIAC preseason favorite Webster, 2-0, Saturday afternoon improving to 9-2-2 overall and 3-0-0 in conference play.

Kornell Hilliard found the back of the net twice in the first half. The first coming in the 25' taking a ball played through by
Tyler Gore and firing a shot low and inside the far post. Six minutes later, the forward scored his second goal of the game and 11th on the season, punching a shot past keeper off a pass by
Chris Encarnacion.

Clayton Henn, Faysil Jilani and
Tyler Gore helped keep the Gorlok offense at bay allowing just two shots on goal for the day helping goalkeeper
Trevor Massa (9-2-2) earn the shutout, his seventh of the season. Massa ended the day with two saves.
FOR THE FOES
- Henok Moges led the Gorlok attack tallying three shots, with one coming on-frame.
- Matt Coffey (4-1-1) suffered the loss in the net for Webster, allowing two goals, while making three saves.
