LOCATION:  Spalding Athletic Complex | Louisville, Ky.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first half was fairly one-sided with Spalding controlling much of the possession. The Golden Eagles kept the ball in their attacking third for a majority of the first half, gaining three corner kicks in less than two minutes. Spalding's defense came out strong in the first half, allowing only two shots by Westminster. Both shots were strongly contested causing neither to be on frame.
- The second half followed mostly in suit with the first, however Westminster was able to control possession slightly better than in the first half. Nonetheless Spalding still was in control and showed it by ripping 11 shots in the second half, putting six on target. Goalkeeper Trevor Massa came up huge late in the game, stopping two shots from Westminster to send the game into extra time.
- The first overtime was a very defensive one for Spalding. The offense had trouble putting together runs up the field, but the defense was able to stand strong through the first 10 minutes of Golden Goal overtime, stopping three corner kicks during the period.
- In the second set of 10 minutes, Spalding's offense came alive. Kornell Hilliard took a powerful shot in the first minute of the period, sending the potential winning goal just over the crossbar. Halfway through the second overtime, the Golden Eagle defense was able to draw the Westminster attack offsides. From this stop, Spalding moved the ball up the field quickly to Omar Mukoma. Mukoma was able to get turned on the ball and put a screaming shot on frame, sending it off the crossbar and into the goal to give Spalding the Golden Goal victory in the 107th minute.

FOR THE FOES
- Goalkeeper Connor Bandre managed to save seven of Spalding's 19 shots, keeping a clean sheet through 106 minutes.
