LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding men's soccer team notched a victory in their second outing of the season defeating the Gallaudet Bison, 2-1, Sunday afternoon at Champions Trace. With the win, the Golden Eagles improve to 2-0-0 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
⁃ The Golden Eagles put away a pair of goals in the second half coming from
Mirza Ugarak (58') on a putback following a
Mani Bakari shot on frame. In the 85
th minute, it was Bakari who to a ball from
Kornell Hilliard and fired a left footed shot grazing a defender before finding the back of the net.
⁃ Spalding controlled possession much of the match outshooting the Bison 20 to 10, with a 10 to 4 advantage in shots on goal.
⁃ Goalkeeper
Jude Louis (1-0-0) earned his first win on the season, allowing one goal while recoding three saves.
FOR THE FOES
⁃ The lone goal of the match for the Bisons came from Luis Montalvo (89').
⁃ Shane Angel (0-2-0) suffered the loss allowing two goals and finished the contest with eight saves.
