MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Spalding softball team went 3-0 on their final day in Myrtle Beach opening the day with a 4-3 win over St. Joseph, followed by a 5-3 against Sarah Lawrence and capped of the day topping Lesley, 11-1.

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS
Trailing 2-0 in the third, Olivia Carter drove in Ally Klein with a single to cut the deficit to one run.
Following another Blue Jay run in the fourth, the Golden Eagles answered with a pair of runs in the bottom of the inning to tie the score at three runs apiece. Jennifer Peffley singled scoring Mackenzie Henderson for the first run, and Lindsey Hubbard grounded out to third bringing in Abby Booker for the tying run.
Peffley scored the game winning run on an in the park home run in the bottom of the sixth.
GAME ONE STAT LEADERS
Olivia Carter went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate driving in one run.
Jennifer Peffley drove in a team-high two RBI going 2-for-3 with a home run.
Amber Kilburn (2-3) earned the win allowing three runs, on nine hits, while striking out and walking two batters in a complete game effort.
FOR THE FOES
Sarah Ercoli led USJ going 3-for-4 with one RBI.
Amaria Sharon (0-5) suffered the loss allowing four runs, on eight hits, while striking out three.
GAME TWO HIGHLIGHTS
Trailing 1-0, the Golden Eagles scored two runs in the second inning to take the lead. Lindsey Hubbard singled to left field scoring Caroline Hale to tie the game, and Hubbard came home on a Jaycee Head single to left to put SU in front, 2-1.
After Gryphon runs in the third and fourth inning, Spalding put up a three spot in the fifth to take a two-run lead. Laken Heavner singled up the middle scoring Hubbard for the tying run, Carter reached on a walk scoring Head and Sam Klein grounded out to shortstop allowing Heavner to score.

GAME THREE HIGHLIGHTS
The Golden Eagles took control of the game early scoring seven runs in the first inning. Grace Sweat singled driving in Head for the first run of the game. Brianna Eatmon drove in Sweat and Mackenzie Henderson with a two run single to make the score, 3-0. Jennifer Peffley double scoring Eatmon and Abby Booker pushing Spalding's lead to five runs. Addison Morris doubled scoring Peffley and came home on an Ally Klein single putting SU ahead 7-0 after one inning.
SU added four more runs in the fourth inning. Sweat reached on a fielder's choice bringing Head across the plate, Eatmon singled scoring Sweat and Stephanie Fries doubled driving in last two runs of the game.
GAME THREE STAT LEADERS
Brianna Eatmon led SU at the plate going 2-for-3 with three runs batted in.
Abby Booker and Jennifer Peffley as tallied two hits and Peffley drove in two RBI.
Kaylin Rucker (1-0) earned her first victory of the season holding the Lynx to one run, on five hits, while striking out one batter in 5.0 innings.
FOR THE FOES
Tallin Goldberg (0-1) suffered the loss allowing 11 runs, on 11 hits, in 4.0 innings.
