TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Spalding softball team took two games at Rose-Hulman, 2-1 and 5-4, Sunday afternoon in Terre Haute, Ind.

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS
The Golden Eagles put a run up iop of the first when Mackenzie Henderson singled scoring Ally Klein from third.
Tied 1-1 in the top of the second, Kaylin Rucker homered for the game winning run.
GAME ONE STAT LEADERS
Ally Klein went 3-for-4 scoring a run.
Kaylin Rucker drove in a run going 1-for-3 with a home run.
Mackenzie Henderson went 1-for-3 batting in a run.
Amber Kilburn (3-3) earned the victory holding the Fightin' Engineers to one run, on seven hits, while striking out three batters in a complete game effort.
FOR THE FOES
Mandi Routon led RHIT at the plate going 3-for-3, while Jessica Will went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Michelle Korf (1-4) took the loss allowing two runs, on seven hits, in 7.0 innings pitched.
GAME TWO HIGHLIGHTS
Similar to game one, the Golden Eagles got on the scoreboard in the first inning taking a 2-0 lead. Mackenzie Henderson grounded out to first driving in Ally Klein for the first run of the game, and Olivia Carter singled scoring Jaycee Head from third.
RHIT scored four runs to take a 4-2 lead. The Golden Eagles cut into the league in the top of the fifth inning when Mac Henderson singled scoring Ally Klein for a second time.
Still trailing by one run, Spalding plated a pair of runs in the sixth inning to take a 5-4 lead. With two outs, Caroline Hale doubled scoring Lexie Shoup and Laken Heavner.
With bases loaded and no outs in the bottom of the sixth, the Golden Eagle defense got three straight outs to hang on to the lead.
GAME TWO STAT LEADERS
Carling Hale went 1-for-1 with a double and two RBI.
Abby Booker with 2-for-3 at the plate.
Mac Henderson finished 1-for-4 with two runs batted in.
Olivia Carter (2-2) earned the win allowing four runs, on eight hits, in 7.0 innings pitched.
FOR THE FOES
Jessica Will led RHIT at the plate going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Alexis Price (2-1) suffered the loss allowing four runs, on eight hits, in 5.0 innings pitched.
