JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Golden Eagles went on the road Thursday topping MacMurray, 1-0, earning their first SLIAC win of 2018. The Golden Eagles move to 8-2-1 overall and 1-0-1 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Golden Eagles were held scoreless throughout the first half, but with time running out, Abnel St. Fleur found the back of the net for the game winner in the 86^th minute.
- The Golden Eagles tallied a season-high 21 shots against the Highlanders, with 10 coming on goal.
- Trevor Massa (1-0-0) earned his first career victory and shutout for Spalding as he saved both shots put on frame by the Highlanders
