ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Spalding University volleyball team lost to conference rival, Blackburn College Saturday afternoon, 3 sets to 1. The match was the first of a double header for the Golden Eagles on Saturday, and was hosted by Fontbonne University at Mabee Gymnasium.

- Senior, Shelsie Timmermeier hit for 15 of the Blackburn's 62 total kills.
- Sophomore, Kendall Burleyson facilitated the offense with a team-high 34 assists.
- Senior, Kendall Knop was defensively sound, corralling 33 digs in the contest.
