ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Spalding University volleyball team fell in straight sets to conference rival, Webster University Saturday afternoon. The match was the latter of a doubleheader for the Golden Eagles on Saturday, and was hosted by Fontbonne University at Mabee Gymnasium.

Amanda Patterson led the Golden Eagles attack, striking for seven of the team's 23 kills.
- Freshman,
Mya Summers was the primary setter for the SU, handing out a team-high 14 assists. She also led the charge defensively, controlling 14 digs in the contest.
FOR THE FOES
- Webster finished the match with a .213 hitting percentage.
- Senior, Torie Grassi led the Gorloks with 11 of the team's 48 kills.
- Senior, Kelsey Hamann contributed to the offense by dishing out a team-high 21 assists.
- Sophomore, Kristen Farrah was defensively sound, garnering 27 digs for the match.
