ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Spalding University volleyball team fell in straight sets to conference rival, Webster University Saturday afternoon. The match was the latter of a doubleheader for the Golden Eagles on Saturday, and was hosted by Fontbonne University at Mabee Gymnasium.

- Spalding struggled to efficiently hit the ball, finishing the match with a .091 hitting percentage.
- Senior, Amanda Patterson led the Golden Eagles attack, striking for seven of the team's 23 kills.
- Freshman, Mya Summers was the primary setter for the SU, handing out a team-high 14 assists. She also led the charge defensively, controlling 14 digs in the contest.
 
FOR THE FOES
- Webster finished the match with a .213 hitting percentage.
- Senior, Torie Grassi led the Gorloks with 11 of the team's 48 kills.
- Senior, Kelsey Hamann contributed to the offense by dishing out a team-high 21 assists.
- Sophomore, Kristen Farrah was defensively sound, garnering 27 digs for the match.
