LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding University men's basketball team lost at Eureka, 77-58, Wednesday night in Eureka, Ill. The Golden Eagles drop to 4-7 overall and 2-3 in SLIAC play, while Eureka improves to 9-3 overall and 4-1 in conference.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Spalding led early taking a 9-2 lead following a
Cornelius Watts layup at the 13:58 mark. However, Eureka would storm back erasing the SU lead eventually taking a 10-point lead with 46 seconds remaining in the half. A
Brandon Williams three-pointer cut the deficit back to seven at the break. The Red Devils started to pull away in the second half taking an 18-point lead on a Shea Feehan four-point play and Eureka would go onto win 77-58.

Robert Bendingfield led Spalding with 13 points, while
Dominique Ellis added 12 points.
Brandon Williams led SU on the boards pulling down a game-high 13 rebounds.
FOR THE FOES
- Shea Feehan lit up the scoreboard with 31 points going 11-of-18 from the field, while Hank Thomas added 16 points.
