LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Golden Eagle men's soccer team dropped a their conference opener to Principia, 2-1, Saturday afternoon at Champions Trace.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Spalding put away one goal scored by Tenko Kono (71').
- The Golden Eagles took a total of ten shots throughout the course of the match.
- Jacob Holehan and Abdi Hussein all were issued yellow cards.
- Leslie Chu was given a red card in the match after receiving his second yellow.
- Nick Lucas (3-6-0), made one save on the ten shots taken by Principia in the first half. Corey Kissinger recorded no saves in the second half on the three shots taken off target.
