LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding University men's basketball team fell to No. 4 ranked Hanover College, 83-47, Tuesday night at Derek Smith Gymnasium. The Golden Eagles fall to 1-3 on the season, while Hanover moves to 3-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Golden Eagles kept it to single digits early trailing 26-18 following a
Cornelius Watts jumper with 5:38 to go. However, Hanover outscored SU 13-5 over the remainder of the half sending the Golden Eagles into the locker room trailing, 39-23. Hanover pulled away in the second half making the final 83-47.

Brandon Williams paced the Golden Eagles scoring 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting from the field.
Cornelius Watts and
Rylan Rowe each added eight points apiece.
- Spalding struggled from the field shooting 33.3% overall and 38.5% from three-point range, while Hanover finished at 56.5% from the floor.
FOR THE FOES
- Four Panthers finished in double figures, Wes McKinney scored a game-high 18 points, Cam Falls tallied 15 points and Kevin Williams and Nick White added 11 points each.
