MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa – The Spalding University volleyball team won their conference match up against the Iowa Wesleyan Tigers. The Golden Eagles took the match in four sets losing the first set, but bounced back winning the next three to take the match, 20-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-15.

- The Golden Eagles finished the match with a hitting percentage of .201 tallying 47 kills on 159 attack attempts.
- Ashley Chase led Spalding's attack with 18 kills, while Amanda Patterson added nine.
- Patterson was also dangerous at the service line recording four service aces, while passing out a team-best 28 assists.
- Claudia Spivey dominated the net finishing with a match-high eight blocks, while Koti Weaver and Patterson held down the back row finishing with 19 and 18 digs.

- Sydney Ellsworth led the Tigers offense with 13 kills, while Ariel Smale passed out a match-high 33 assists.
