MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa– Spalding University volleyball won their second match of Saturday's quad-match sweeping the Blackburn Beavers in straight sets, 25-21, 26-16, 25-20, improving to 5-6 in SLIAC play.

-The Golden Eagles attacked their way to an efficient .283 hitting percentage against the Beavers averaging 12 kills per set.

Morgan Berning paced the Spalding attack tallying 13 kills, while Amada Patterson engineered the offense with 21 assists.

Koti Weaver anchored Spalding's back row with team-high 21 digs, while
Theresa Kwarciany led SU at the net with four blocks.
