MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa– Spalding University volleyball won their second match of Saturday's quad-match sweeping the Blackburn Beavers in straight sets, 25-21, 26-16, 25-20, improving to 5-6 in SLIAC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Golden Eagles attacked their way to an efficient .283 hitting percentage against the Beavers averaging 12 kills per set.
-Morgan Berning paced the Spalding attack tallying 13 kills, while Amada Patterson engineered the offense with 21 assists.
- Koti Weaver anchored Spalding's back row with team-high 21 digs, while Theresa Kwarciany led SU at the net with four blocks.
