LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding University volleyball team beat Eureka in three sets, 25-21, 25-20, 25-16, Wednesday night at Derek Smith Gymnasium. The win pushes SU's record to 8-21 overall and 7-10 in conference play.

- The Golden Eagles hit their way to victory hitting .294, their second highest hitting percentage of the season.
- Freshman middle hitter
Claudia Spivey led the SU attack connecting on a match-high 13 kills, while
Ashley Chase and
Morgan Berning added nine kills apiece.

Kaitlin Hall facilitated the offense passing out 31 assists on the game, while also anchoring the defense with 12 digs.
FOR THE FOES
- Anna Crank and Lexi Dooley led the Red Devil offense with eight kills each, while Sara Worrell passed out 12 assists.
- Jordan Detmer led the defense with 10 digs, while Crank added nine.
UP NEXT
- The Golden Eagles will wrap the season Saturday hosting a tri-match at Derek Smith Gymnasium. Spalding will open the day against Principia at 11 and cap off the 2017 season against in-state foe Centre College at 3 pm.
