ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Spalding men's soccer team dropped a heartbreaker at Fontbonne, 4-3, in double overtime. The loss drops SU's record to 7-9-0 and 4-4-0 in SLIAC play.

- The Golden Eagles put away three goals. Two coming from
Kornell Hilliard (25', 38') and on by
Trustun Ashburn (27').
- Spalding tallied fifteen shots with seven on frame during the match.
- Nic Lucas (7-9-0) suffered the loss recording seven saves allowing four goals off the eleven shots on target.
FOR THE FOES
- Fontbonne Griffins had four goals with them coming from Alex Phillips (10'), Corey Schmidt (63'), Blake Smugala (85') and Greg Ferry (109') with the game winner in overtime
- Tony Pitaro (12-4-1) allowed three goals with four saves earning the win for Fontbonne.
