FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Spalding University women's soccer team lost at Franklin College, 2-0, Sunday evening. This is the second loss in a row for the Golden Eagles dropping their record to 4-2-1, while Franklin improves to 6-2-0.

The Golden Eagles had a couple opportunities with four shots in the first half but were unable to finish, while SU's keeper, Kelsey Kaiser, was tested 11 times in the first half by the Grizzlies and recorded two saves. Franklin's

Maddie Fleet found the back of the net in the 27^th minute off a long ball from the middle, assisted by Taylor McDaniel taking the score to 1-0.

McKenna Pfeiffer made her fourth appearance in the net for the Golden Eagles after a goalie switch in the second half. She was also tested with 11 shots on goal and earned four saves during the half. However, Maddie Fleet scored her second goal of the game, this time against Pfeiffer in the 74^th minute to make the final score, 2-0.

Next, the Golden Eagles will travel to Anderson, Ind. Wednesday to take on Anderson University at 7pm.
