ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Spalding University men's soccer team lost a wild one at Fontbonne, 2-1, Saturday in St. Louis.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In a crazy sequence of events, all three of the games goals were scored in a 54 second span in the first half. Fontbonne's Alex Lamoreaux and Alex Phillips slotted goals at 40:01 and 40:30 to give the Griffins a 2-0 lead. Spalding's Abdullahi Abdullahi answered for the Eagles at 40:55 to cut the margin to one.

- The Golden Eagles outshot Fontbonne nine to seven in the second half with shots on-goal by Abdullahi (54^th) and Austin Lanham (87^th), but neither found the back of the net.
