LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Fonda and Abdullahi tuck away two goals apiece to lead the Spalding University men's soccer team past MacMurray, 7-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Golden Eagles scored early and often in the first half. Zach Fonda, Abdullahi Abdullahi and Stephen Schmuck found the back of the net in the first 10 minutes to give SU a 3-0 advantage.

- Jacob McMurray and Tenko Kono added a tally apiece in the 17^th and 24^th minute extending the Eagles lead to 5-0. The Highlander's Miles Money elevated above the SU defenders sending a header past Spalding keeper Aaron Seneker to cut Spalding's lead to four at halftime.

- Spalding wasted no time pushing their lead back to five scoring just 28 seconds into the second half when Abdullahi slotted his second goal of the game off a through ball by Schmuck. Dylin Albright found Fonda who fired a shot past the keeper to make the final margin 7-1.

KEY STATS
With two goals against MacMurray, Abdullahi now has a team-high seven goals with ranks sixth in the SLIAC.

The Golden Eagles will head to St. Louis to take on the Fontbonne Griffins Saturday at 4:00 p.m. EST. Last season Spalding defeated Fontbonne, 2-1 at Champions Trace.
