Coach Trevor Johnson serves as the inaugural Head Esports Coach at Spalding University, where he leads the development and continued growth of the Golden Eagles’ varsity esports program. Entering his second year, Trevor has built competitive rosters across multiple game titles, helping establish a strong foundation for the program. Under his leadership, Spalding’s Esports teams have earned four playoff appearances across two seasons, highlighting the program’s rapid competitive growth.
In addition to leading Spalding Esports, Trevor is entering his first year as Director of Compliance for the Spalding University Athletic Department, supporting student-athletes, coaches, and staff in maintaining NCAA, conference, and institutional compliance standards.
Trevor holds a Master of Science in Esports Business and brings experience in collegiate esports administration, event operations, and digital content creation. As an undergraduate at Manchester University, he helped build the university’s esports program from the ground up.Â
A Southern Indiana native, Trevor resides in Clarksville.
