Biography
2019 Season
McGimsey competed in 14 games and started in 12 her senior season. She landed two goals and one assist for the Golden Eagles in her final season at Spalding. Her best game was against Oakland City on September 11th where she had one goal and one assist.
2018 Season
In her junior season, McGimsey earned All-Academic Team honors and appeared in 14 games, starting in 13. The midfielder scored twice and tallied five assists for the Golden Eagles.
2017 Season
McGimsey, a SLIAC Third Team All-Conference selection her sophomore season, appeared and started in 16 games. McGimsey ranked second on the team in goals slotting six totalinig 12 points on the season. The midfielder earned her first collegiate hat trick in a 9-0 win at Eureka on October 7.
2016 Season
In Abby McGimsey’s first season as a Golden Eagle, she tallied a total of seven points with two goals and three assists. She appeared in 18 games and started in four throughout the 2016 season. Her best match was in the Golden Eagle’s conference win at Blackburn where she scored her first goal of the season.
