Washle joins the Eagles after beginning his full-time career as the Director of Basketball Operations at Bellarmine for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons as well as assistant coach . While working with the Knights, he oversaw event schedules including games, travel, time management, digital media management, donor coordination, and visiting team accommodations. Â
 Before his promotion to a full-time role, Washle assisted Bellarmine's women's basketball program in various capacities. He was a practice player during his undergraduate career before being named a graduate assistant ahead of the 2021-22 season. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, he pushed for the revival of the Bellarmine club basketball programs, eventually serving as the club's president as it joined the National Club Basketball Association
