Biography

2013 Season
Kelsey McDowell finished her first year with the Lady Eagles, leading the SLIAC with 11 homeruns and was ranked sixth in the conference with 35 RBIs. Appearing in 39 games, McDowell recorded 36 hits, 29 runs, and finished the season with a .288 batting average. On April 25, 2013, in one of her best efforts of the season, McDowell went 3 for 4 earning 2 homeruns and 3 RBIs which led Spalding to an 8-7 victory over Hanover College. McDowell’s performance in the game helped her earn SLIAC Player of the Week honors for the week of April 22-28, 2013.
