Micah Adkins-Estes was named Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach during the 2024 spring season.
A native of Science Hill, Kentucky, Micah Adkins-Estes most recently served on staff as an assistant coach with Wheaton College in Illinois while working with Kickers Soccer Club as Assistant Technical Director. Adkins-Estes was on the sidelines for the Thunder during the 2023 season, helping guide the national championship program to a 11-5-2 record and 2nd place finish in the CCIW. Micah oversaw the goalkeepers for the year and helped junior goalie Mason Escalante earn CCIW Goalkeeper of the Year honors. The Thunder saw two players earn All-Region selections, while head coach Steve McGrath was named CCIW Coach of the Year. A former NCCAA All-American Honorable Mention goalkeeper at Kentucky Christian University, Micah has also spent time coaching on staff with Morehead State women's soccer and Kentucky Christian men's and women's soccer. Additionally, he served as Head Coach at Greenwood Christian Academy, guiding the boy's team to the Indiana high school state final. A graduate of Pulaski County High School, Micah was named 2018 NCCAA Mideast Conference Goalkeeper of the Year and was a 2x NCCAA Tournament finalist during his time at KCU. He graduated from KCU with a degree in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Sports Ministry and a minor in Counseling and holds his USSF C License.
Adkins-Estes is an avid United States Men's National team supporter as well as a lifelong Louisville City and Fulham fan.
