PRIOR TO SPALDING
Vejar was the head coach at Floyd Central High School for the women’s soccer team. He took over the program after a fifth-place conference finish the year prior. Under his direction, the team finished second in conference and only allowed four goals in league play all season. The program also won its sixth consecutive IHSAA Sectional Championship. The team was awarded four First Team All-Conference selections and four Honorable Mention All-Conference selections, as well as 10 ISCA Academic All-State awards.
In addition to coaching Floyd Central, Vejar operates his own soccer skills development and conditioning business called “Go5400” (Jordan Athletic Ventures), providing custom workouts to youth, collegiate, and professional players. Coach Vejar was a member and recipient of the 2019 United Soccer Coaches 30 Under 30 program, a coaching designation given to 15 male and 15 female coaches across the United States who have shown a true passion for coaching and impacting their community through soccer. He currently holds his elite USSF National “B” coaching license, which he earned in 2025.

Vejar has extensive club coaching experience and currently serves as the Director of Communications and College Recruitment, as well as the Head Coach for the 2011 Girls’ Gold team at Mockingbird Valley Premier. He has also spent time coaching as a District and Assistant Coach with the Indiana and Kentucky Olympic Development Programs (ODP).
Jordan is very familiar with soccer in the Louisville-Metro area as he was a player product from southern Indiana and then moved to Javanon FC for his final five seasons where he won three state cup titles, three MRL Premier Championships, and two second-place finishes in the US Youth Soccer National League (as part of the first team from Kentucky to be selected for the National League). He was a 2013 graduate of Jeffersonville High School and left the soccer program there as the career leader in goals and assists. Jordan was also a four-time member of the Indiana Olympic Development Program where he led the team in scoring each year and also was invited to be part of the Region II Pool Team.

Coach Vejar began his college playing career at Bellarmine University before transferring to Marian University (IN), where he was a starting center midfielder for the Men's Soccer Team from 2014 to 2017 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Following his college career, Vejar worked at ESPN Louisville as an Account Executive and was a volunteer assistant coach for the men’s team at Spalding. In the fall of 2018, he began his graduate assistantship with the Golden Eagles men’s soccer program. Coach Vejar completed his Master of Science in Business Communications with a concentration in Organizational Leadership in 2020, and expanded his credentials by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Sports Management from Spalding in January 2025. During his time as the GA, the Golden Eagles men's team recorded a 27-9-4 record (the program’s two winningest seasons), captured a 2018 SLIAC Regular Season Championship, and finished as 2019 SLIAC Tournament Finalists.

Coach Vejar and his wife Janel, who is a first-grade teacher, reside in Southern Indiana.
