Biography

JR had another outstanding season as the catcher for the Golden Eagles in his sophomore year. His athleticism and control behind the plate helped lead the Golden Eagle pitching staff to being at or near the top in most statistical categories in the conference. At the plate he batted .301 while driving in 25 runs. Behind the plate he had a fielding percentage of .969.
