WHAT IS SAAC?
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at Spalding University consists of a group of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience and offer input on the rules, regulations, and policies that affect student-athletes' lives at Spalding and all NCAA member institutions. SAAC also promotes communication between athletics administration and student-athletes, work to promote a positive student-athlete image, organize community service efforts, build a sense of community within the athletics program, and generate a student-athlete voice within the campus athletics department formulation of policies. SAAC committees are found on all NCAA campuses and are divided into Divisions I, II, and III. Spalding is a member of the NCAA Division III. Two members of the Spalding SAAC serve on the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference SAAC.
