2016-17 Season
James Turner completed his senior season at SU appearing in 23 games, starting in 19. Turner averaged 13.5 points per game and three assists. He finished the season scoring 310 points. Turner scored 30 points in SU's 125-119 loss to Greenville College.
2015-16 Season
James Turner appeared in 27 games, starting 25 for the Golden Eagles his junior season. He was ranked 6th in the conference for his 3-point percentage of 45.5 and 7th in conference for assists with 67. Turner averaged 13.2 points per game. Turner scored 20 points in SU's 85-82 win at Berea College.Â

The 2014-2015 season marked James Turner’s second season with the Golden Eagles. On the season, Turner averaged 8.8 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. On January 6, Turner scored a season high 18 points in the Spalding 81-65 victory against Fontbonne University.Â
