2016 Season
In his senior season, Vire earned SLIAC First Team All-Conference honors, was named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week and earned SLIAC Hitter of the Week honors twice. The second baseman finished his senior campaign batting at .408 clip which ranked third in the SLIAC, as well ranked fifth in on base percentage at .459. Vire was lethal once on the bags stealing a SLIAC best 27 bases, which ranked 17th in NCAA Division III. In the field, Vire finished with 60 put outs, 84 assists and helped the SU defense turn 18 double plays. A triple threat, Vire also came in as a relief pitcher. The knuckleballer earned one win and two saves in 8.0 innings pitched, striking out eight batters, while giving up eight runs. Vire highlighted his season going 3-for-6 scoring two runs and stealing a base, as well as earning the save allowing just one hit in 2.0 innings in the Golden Eagles 7-6 over No. 25 Heidelberg.

2015 Season
In his junior season, Vire was named SLIAC Third Team All-Conference as a utility player splitting time in the infield and as a closer. Vire appeared in six games on the year collecting three saves ranking fourth in the conference. At the plate, Vire finished the season with a .282 batting average, hitting 12 doubles ranking eighth in the SLIAC, while driving in 30 runs batted in. On the bases, Korie stole 16 bases in 18 attempts ranking third in the conference.

2014 Season
Vire had an impressive first season with the Eagles doing big things with the bat and from the field. Offensively, Vire posted some power stats hitting five home runs, seven doubles, and a triple. Vire came in at third in conference with his .633 slugging percentage while still managing to keep a .367 batting average. Vire also swiped an impressive 18 bags to go along with his power stats. From the mound, Vire started four games and posted a 3-0 record; of the four games, Vire completed two of them. In a 7-5 win over Iowa Wesleyan, Vire managed to go 1-3 driving in two and scoring later in the inning.
