WILMORE, Ky. - The Spalding University women's soccer team battled to a hard-fought 0–0 draw on the road against Asbury University on Wednesday night at the Asbury Gray Outdoor Venue. Moving to 2-1-1 on the season, the Golden Eagles relied on an opportunistic first-half attack and a resolute defensive effort to earn a valuable point on the road against a physical Asbury squad.
Spalding's defense stood tall under immense pressure, particularly in the second half when the host Eagles launched a heavy offensive push. Goalkeeper
Lily Brennen turned in a stellar performance in net, making five total saves—four of which came during a second half where Asbury outshot Spalding 11–0. Brennen's clean sheet was bolstered by full 90-minute efforts from defenders
