ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Spalding softball is picked to finish first in the 2026 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) coaches preseason poll.
 
The Golden Eagles placed first with 62 points and six first-place votes. Greenville University earned second place in the poll with 55 total points and two first-place votes. MUW rounded out the top three with 52 points and one first-place vote..
 
The 2026 SLIAC Softball Tournament will be held May 5-10 in Louisville, Ky.
