ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Spalding women's golf is selected to finish third in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) this year, according to the 2025 SLIAC coaches preseason poll.
Spalding University was picked 3rd with 56 total points. The Golden Eagles and head coach Jeff Nelson will be in a rebuilding mode after losing the majority of their team to graduation.
Bailey Birdsell will be leaned on to carry the team. The senior held an 85.4 average last season with a low round of 75.
The SLIAC Women's Golf Championship will begin October 5th.
