TECUMSEH, Mi. - Spalding men's golf competed in the Irish Springs Invitational this past weekend. SU finished fifth out of ten teams.

Gustav Cronier led the way for the Golden Eagles and grabbed a 15th place finish. Cronier carded rounds of 78 and 76 for a 154 (+10). Kyle Dulle finished 17th, shooting 75 and 80 rounds for a 155 (+11). Augustus Vega finished 23rd for the tournament as an individual. He carded rounds of 80 and 77 for a total of 157 (+13). 

Ashton Bass (79-82-161) also competed as an individual and finished 31st.  Taylor Coleman (81-80-161) and Brady Westwood (77-85-162) finished very close to one another. Coleman finished 32nd while Westwood finished 34th for SU. Ryan Graves finished 35th with scores of 78 and 84 for a 162 (+18), while Neal Wheeler (individual) rounded out the Golden Eagle squad with scores of 82 and 81 for a 163 (+19), and finished 36th.

Spring Arbor (A) won the event with a total score of +23. Spalding finished fifth with a team score of +52. 

The Golden Eagles will be back in action on September 20-21. SU will compete in the Midwest Regional Classic.
