VINCENNES, In. - Spalding men's golf competed in the VU Fall Invitational this past weekend. SU finished third and fourth out of six teams.

Ashton Bass led the way for the Golden Eagles and grabbed a 10th place finish. Bass carded rounds of 79 and 74 for a 153 (+13). Taylor Coleman finished 11th, shooting 77 both rounds for a 154 (+14). Brady Westwood, Ryan Graves, and Kyle Dulle all tied for 12th, each scoring a 155 (+15). Westwood shot a 76 and 79. Graves carded rounds of 84 and 71. Dulle rounded out the +15 trio with similar scores of a 78 and a 77.

Gustav Cronier (78-78-156) finished tied for 16th.  Neal Wheeler (88-70-158) and JJ Morgan (82-76-158) tied 19th for SU. Augustus Vega finished in 24th with scores of 78 and 85 for a 163 (+23) weekend, while Ryan Dycus rounded out the Golden Eagle squads with scores of 88 and 82 for a 170 (+30).

Vincennes University won the event with a total score of +12. Spalding (A) finished third with a team score of +51, while Spalding (B) grabbed fourth with a +66. 

The Golden Eagles will be back in action on September 14-15. SU will compete in the Irish Hills Intercollegiate.
