SU moved to 11-7-2 on the season, while the Gorloks season ended.

TURNING POINT
Spalding opened the first half of the championship seeking their first SLIAC Championship. Micah Mattes made some huge saves, while SU's defense held firm to end the first half, winning 1-0.

SU was just a half away from making program history. Just 20 minutes into the half, the Gorloks found the equalizer. They tied the game, 1-1, in the 64th minute. As the clock ticked, the Golden Eagles were applying pressure to Webster's goalkeeper. With three minutes remaining in the game, Eddie Mendez-Perez scored the game-winner.
