BEREA, Ky. – Spalding women's soccer and Berea College finished their Sunday afternoon game in Berea with a 0-0 draw.
The Golden Eagles moved to 2-3-2, while the Mountaineers moved to 0-7-1.
TURNING POINT
The first half was an even match between both squads. SU couldn't find the back of the net, after having 10 shots with four being on target in the first 45. The Golden Eagles maintained control of the majority of the opening half by having the ball 57% of the time. Spalding's defense held strong by only allowing three shots with one being on target.
The second half was very similar to the first with Spalding still maintaining possession for majority of the half, but not being able to put the ball in the back of the net. The Golden Eagles tallied 10 more shots in the half with a total of 20 for the game.
Spalding kept shooting but couldn't land one past the Mountaineers. The game ended in a 0-0 tie.

- The Golden Eagles had a 20-6 advantage in shots over Berea and put eight of those shots on target.
- SU had nine corner kicks to the Mountaineers one.
- Spalding maintained control of the game with 54% possession.
- Faith Rutherford tallied the most shots for the Golden Eagles with five.
