The Golden Eagles pick up their first win of the season against the Franklin Grizzlies Sunday evening (Sept. 4). The Grizzlies took the first goal in the 10th minute of the game by Yousak. But not 4 minutes later the Golden Eagles
Braden Anderson with the assist by
Chadrack Mulondani tied up the game 1-1. The action continued going forward into the second half of the game about an hour in of total play, then
Kevin Mulume nets the Golden Eagles another goal bringing the score to 2-1. The Golden Eagles defended their lead for the remainder of the game while attempting four more shots against the Grizzlies.

- The Golden Eagles outshoot the Grizzlies by having 14 shots with 5 being on goal compared to 9 shots with 3 on goal.
