MOUNT VERNON, Iowa – The Spalding women's lacrosse team (0-1) played their inaugural game Saturday at Cornell College falling, 19-0.

Julia Ihm led the Spalding attack with one shot on-goal, while Jeannette Cooke, Lily Durman and Hannah Reyes each. Goalkeepers Isabella Mullins and Hannah Reyes combined for 24 saves, with Mullins tallying 13 and Reyes 11.

Up next, the Golden Eagles play their home opener against the University of Dallas Monday, March 14 at 5:30 p.m. ET.
