ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Spalding men's basketball team drops their final regular season game to Fontbonne, 77-64. The Golden Eagles finish with an overall record of 8-17 and 6-8 in SLIAC play.
 
The Spalding offense started out slow in the first half as Fontbonne would go on a 9-2 run. Brian Tribble would cut the Griffin lead to five with a two-point shot. Spalding would be looking at a 17-point deficit going into the half. SU could not convert as they pick up the road loss, 77-64.
 
Troy Amanor finished with 14 points and seven rebounds on the day while Tylan Mann ended with 12 points and nine rebounds.
 
Up next, Spalding earned a #6 seed in the SLIAC Tournament and will face off against #3 Blackburn in Carlinville, Il. On Tuesday, February 22^nd with a tip-off time at 8pm ET.
